Description

MacArthur's Ball is named for Chicopee native Lt. General Arthur MacArthur Jr., Medal of Honor Recipient in the Civil War. The monument, a five ton granite ball, was originally located at the intersection of East and Broadway Streets and was dedicated on September 5, 1942. It is currently located at the intersection of Church and Broadway Streets.
