Description
A four page newspaper describing the events related to the social groups and athletic clubs of the Fisk Tire Company for the week of August 12, 1920. The Bigelow-Hartfords are coming to town and they are bringing a crowd, or so says page one of the Bulletin. A call is out for all employees to attend the Red Tops game Saturday to show the visiting team who can cheer louder. In other page one news, the Boweman All-Stars lost the first game of the series for baseball bragging rights and the Red Tops have three tough games in a row. Page two highlights include an update and photograph on "Doc" Deroin, formerly of the By-Products Department, and new job in Chicago, a story on Gene Kane hitting a game winning single for the Non Skids and there is a need for more participants in the women's tennis tournament. The August 13, 1920 Park Night schedule and stories on the Red Tops win, the next clash of the bachelors and benedicts and Jack McEvitt's safety record appear on page three. Batting averages, baseball league standings and the quoits league make up the news on page four.
